ABOUT SWEET NICHAN & NICHANCRAFTROOM

I have some craft hobbies like sewing, fashion design, knitting, crocheting, needle felting, felted fabric crafting...I thought I could stop it right there...but no...I like handcarving rubber stamp, too, now...but still haven't made a lot. My tools haven't arrived, yet.

Every hobby has it's own history...why did I start sewing? why did I learn fashion design?why did I start knitting? crocheting? needle felting? handcarving rubber stamp? Each has it's own story...It's very confusing sometimes having so much interests but I'm happy with it. It makes my craft world more colorful (^o^). Having one craft will make me bored. Moreover, each craft gives a different feel, experience, and joy.

My slogan is: I CREATE. Why is that? Because I Create, not produce nor (just) make nor (just) design. I see that a lot of people can make or produce handmade, but are they creative? Not always, in my humble opinion (sorry, for speaking frankly). Creating starts from concept making to the end. There are different difficulty levels on each creation. The creation varies, not a stagnant one; yes, creative creation. I don't make or produce a simple plain pouch although, yes, I won't deny it's a hot selling-item. I Create something much more creative here. Although perhaps only some people are interested but they know, my work is precious...

Although one day I have employee or else, my originality, philosophy, quality, and even creativity will inherit to my employee. If Nichancraftroom grows one day with one or more employees, I want it's still I CREATE instead of I Produce.

My craft style is anything fun, cute, and unique. I don't limit it to an age, gender, or else. I enjoy my craft and I hope you do, too (^.^). Sometimes, I'm thinking to make stuff for boys, too. I have the style in mind but I haven't tried to make a single thing until now. I'm too girly in taste. All fabrics, colors, textures, motif, types, all are too girly (^.^)'

My dream is to have a success business, built on and by my passion, my genuine and true-true passion. I was an accounting student, I learned Java programming, I took piano course (when I was a kid...it was a little bit nightmare. Learned under pressure (^o^) )...I did all well...but my passion is crafting. My environment made me bury my passion for years and thanks God (I do thank Him), He resurrected it . Accounting and programming now are only the support for my passion. I guess, I really-really must be grateful for given so much beautiful things by God. My previous family & environment may try to kill or bury my passion but no one can beat my dearest Lord. (^.^).

I'm not success in making money now, but I know my ability is not lost to those who make the money. Some people say if it doesn't make money then it's useless. Yes, they are correct but when we keep making money and money and money without identifying and working on our deepest passion, then one day, we'll be ended with empty-pointless-and perhaps more useless-than-ever feeling. Succeed can't be measured by money all the time.

I'm keeping my spirit to make not just fun, sweet, and different crafts but also original in style. Moreover, I also keep my faith on God for my dream +
